The Batting Stance Guy: Video!
By Brian Capozzi | June 3 2009
The Batting Stance Guy, as he likes to be called, has an incredible talent for impersonating famous MLB players stances. His range of impersonations ranges from Reggie Jackson to Nomar Garciaparra. His videos have become so popular that Major League ball clubs have invited him to Spring Training or regular season games to put on a show for the players. The popularity of his skill started with a YouTube clip about two and a half years ago that took off. The clip is about 3 minutes long. The Batting Stance Guy is in a yard with a wiffle ball bat, while his friend (who is recording) lists out a bunch of Yankees, past and present, and he imitates each swing to perfection. His videos have gained such popularity that there is a website where you can find ALL his impersonations. The below clip is the original of the New York Yankees. The one below that is of the 2008 Boston Red Sox playoff lineup. My opinion: his Derek Jeter is hysterical! Don’t forget, there are many more videos on his site. Enjoy!

great article! Have you seen the latest Yankees video that he did - the 2009 version. Its hilarious!
